GTA IV Remade as FPS
A canny PC modder has managed to turn Rockstar’s classic GTA IV into an FPS and we have a video to prove it.
As you can see below, the change gives us a very different viewpoint on Liberty City – and one we’d encourage Rockstar to explore further.
The phoney New York looks much more bustling – with people surrounding your gaze at every turn – whilst shooting effects are much more noticeable.
That said, driving looks a lot trickier than in a third-person view. But you can’t have everything. If you could, we’d be sitting on velvet thrones by now, having banana Frijj milkshakes seductively drizzled into our gluttonous gobs by ex-Brookside filly Jennifer Ellison.
Anyway, check out the video. It won’t disappoint. (Be warned: GTA is an 18-rated game for a reason. This video ain’t suitable for young ‘uns).
