Ape Escape PS3 Announced

No Comments Posted in: Move | March 10, 2011

Sony has revealed Ape Escape for PS3, which supports PlayStation Move. Laugh, we nearly vomited.

Developed by Sony Worldwide Studios’ Japan Studio, Ape Escape “combines exciting colourful action” and “hilarious monkey humour with a host of new features for PS3 – including full compatibility with the PlayStation Move motion controller,” Sony says.

Ape Escape sees players work through 15 stages using Move as a Monkey Net, Slingshot, Smasher, Banana Zapper, Ape Vacuum and other mental devices.

Players can use their Move tools for two types of gameplay, says Sony; “bash off apes in Chase battles or attack and defend simultaneously to prevent monkeys from grabbing your bananas in fast-paced Capture battles.”

A roster of Monkey mini-games are also set to be included, it says, each of which unlocks as you progress through the game’s story mode.
