Community Modes Added To MW3
A select number of user-created custom multiplayer modes will be released as public playlists in Modern Warfare 3.
Infinity Ward media man Robert Bowling confirmed as much with G4, saying that the developer has cherry-picked a few good ones and is polishing them up for public release “in the coming weeks”.
“We’ve been noticing a lot of user-created game modes that, in the coming weeks, we’re going to be adding to the public playlists in multiplayer,” Bowling revealed.
“We’re going to be adding some in for the holiday, brand new modes that the users created, that we adapted, made more polished, and are putting into the game,” he said.
He made no mention of giving credit to the gamers who created modes chosen for release. A million pounds would be nice, or just a mention in the playlist if not.
IW earlier this week implemented a hotfix update making a bunch of improvements and tweaks to the multiplayer mode.
