F1 Online Trailer and Details
Codemasters has announced it’s opened registration for the F1 Online closed beta.
Players can register over on the game’s official website and will be able to earn in-game rewards when the game goes live, the company says.
The free-to-play PC and Mac title combines top-down multiplayer racing with a management sim, as players create and handle their own F1 team. See the first trailer on this page.
F1 Online will offer all the official drivers, teams and circuits from the 2011 FIA Formula One World Championship through “a persistent world of F1″ presented via web browsers, says Codies.
On the creation front, fans will have the opportunity to create their own team, choosing a name, designing a livery and leading the development of a personal franchise. See more details here.
It’s due to launch properly in Q1 2012.
