Star Wars The Old Republic on Mac?
One of the big questions that’s been dogging Star Wars: The Old Republic since its December 20th is ‘where is the Mac version?’
And while BioWare doesn’t have solid answer for you yet, but company founders Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuk confirm it’s definitely something that fits into the game’s long-term plans.
“We know there’s a big Mac audience of BioWare fans … we know that’s an important and large audience. And we want to serve that audience,” Muzyka told Massively during a recent interview. Zeschuk added that a Mac version isn’t in active development right now — “Not yet,” he said — but the studio is aware of the demand that’s out there.
“That’s definitely one of the things we’re looking at next,” he said. “We want to get this launch under our belt and everything stabilized and happy, and then we’ll look at other platforms, and that’s obviously one of the first ones.”
